Summary: Setting Value for Enumeration Field Corrupts the Document Object.
Details: The site has a RESTFUL web service that they provide that uses documents. The document is created using a record definition originally and then the site uses a transform app engine to convert it to another document format. After upgrading to PeopleTools 8.54.10, the site receives errors with this service stating that the enumeration value is not defined. When tracing the code, the site can see that field that return from the database as 1 character is actually trying to populate the document as 4 characters (e.g D is returned but DDDD is trying to populate the document). The document field is defined as a 1 character field as well.
Error in the errorlog.html:
RESTListeningConnector:returnResponse() Error occurred while building Document: The value DDDD is not a defined Enumeration value. Check Document Definition.. (2,1043) UF_TL_SERVICES.TLApprSearch.OnExecute Name:OnRequest PCPC:2203 Statement:36
