When User Selects Link from Email Notification to Approve Job Opening, Error Occurs: "You are not authorized for this page." (Doc ID 2074443.1)

Symptoms

When approver for Job Opening clicks on link in email notification, the below message is displayed.  This problem occurs when JobOpening Transaction Registry setup page specifies the HRMS local node in the internal URL Definition section.  The error does not occur when the JobOpening Transaction Registry setup page specifies the PSFT_HR in the internal URL Definition section.

REPLICATION STEPS:
-----------------------

1. Configure JobOpening Transaction Registry to show the PSFT_HR default local node in the internal URL Definition section.
2. Navigate to Recruiting and Create a new Job Opening.
3. Log in as approver and select the Worklist link.
4. Click the Worklist link for the new job opening to approve the job opening.
5. Click the Approvals link in the Manage Job Openings page.
6. Observe Job Approvals page appears (Page HRS_JOB_OPENING, Component HRS_JOB_OPENING, Menu HRS_HRPM_CN)
7. DO NOT approve.  Log out of the PeopleSoft system.
8. Access email and find email notification sent for this approval.
9. Click the link in the email message.  (Sign-on page opens.)
10.  Log in as SAME user for steps 3-6 above.
11.  Observe the following error:

You are not authorized for this page.


Steps 3-6 above show that the user has access to the approvals page to approve the Job Opening.
Steps 7-11 above show that the same user cannot access the approvals page by selecting the link in the email.
