Symptoms

Any employee who has at any time had a Life Event makes elections for Open Enrollment and submits them. When an employee reopens the Open Enrollment event, makes changes to the elections and attempts to submit them, the following error occurs:

A fatal PeopleCode SQL error occurred. Please consult your system log for details.

SQL error in Exec. (2,280) W3EB_ENR_SUMMARY.GBL.SavePostChange PCPC:1855 Statement:15
During the execution of SQL, an error occurred in the Exec subroutine. The preceding message should have described the SQL being executed.

STEPS
-----------------------
1. An employee who either has a current open Life Event or has had one in the past makes elections for Open Enrollment through Self Service and submits them (Navigation: Self Service > Benefits > Benefits Enrollment).
2. Employee reopens event, makes changes, and submits again.
