Issue: An employee who is working under company X (Pay System Flag:North American Payroll) transfers to company Y (Pay System Flag: Other). Now the payroll manager in company X cannot see any of the employee's prior balances or paychecks that were produced while under company X. Since the employee is now assigned to company Y, the payroll manager for company X cannot view any data for the employee. The payroll manager for company X needs to process the employee's last check and can see the employee's paysheet and payline record, but not the prior balances. The effective date of the intercompany transfer and pay period fall within the period the employee was still in company X.
How can we configure the system so that a payroll manager can see historical payroll data for an employee who has transferred out of that manager's authorized unit?
Note: The same issue would apply to HR team, who would not be able to access the records for company X, if their security is configured only from company Y.
