E-WAS: Unable to login to PeopleSoft while using WebSphere - Internal Server Error. Login Cannot Continue

When Administrative Security and Application Security is enabled in the WebSphere console, the PeopleSoft login page is replaced with a blank page with the error below:

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Enable Administrative Security and Application Security in WebSphere console
2. Stop and Start Web Server (./stopServer.sh server1 ./startServer.sh server1)
3. WebSphere Console will now asked for Login and Password.
4. When going to the PeopleSoft login page the error appears: "Internal Server Error. Login cannot continue."

How can this be fixed, so that administrative Security and Application security is enabled but the error does not occur?
