Issue: When using more than one Child Commitment Control Ledger Group (e.g. Parent – Child – Grandchild) for a Grants Business Unit, the Commitment Control Budget Definition Control ChartField page is not updated correctly for the Project’s End Date when using Days to Close to add days to the end of the Grant in KK.
Here are the steps to replicate in Demo (Parent: EG_UNIV_PR, Child: EG_UNRL, Grandchild: EG_UNIV):
.) Copied Ledger Group EG_UNIV to new Ledger Group/Ledgers
.) Updated new Ledger Group’s Keys and Translation to only have Project and Activity
.) Added a new effective date to EG_UNIV and changed Parent Control Budget to the new medium level Ledger Group: EG_UNRL
.) Added PC BU, Dept, and Account back to Keys and Translation
.) Added the medium level Ledger Group to Ledgers for a Unit
.) Days to Close is 90 on Grants Business Unit
.) Created/Copied a new Proposal
.) Submitted Proposal
.) Generated the Award
.) Commitment Control Budget Definition - Control ChartField for EG_UNIV populated with Project and End Date incremented by Days to Close.
.) Commitment Control Budget Definition - Control ChartField for EG_UNRL populated with Project and End Date incremented by Days to Close.
.) Commitment Control Budget Definition - Control ChartField for EG_UNIV_PR NOT populated with Project
.) Posted budget to the Project.
.) The missing Project is added to the Control ChartField for the parent, EG_UNIV_PR, however, the end date is not incremented by the Days to Close.
