Symptoms

ISSUE: When a Manager Accesses View Approval Status Summary and enters the Current Date and then clicks on Search a SQL Error occurs.

Error: Unexpected data type code: None (180,605) EP_UTIL_PACKAGE.Approval_Status OnExecute Name SelectApproverRows PCPC3375 Statement 40

The Evaluator encountered an unexpected data type code.

1. Navigate to Manager Self Service > Performance Management > View Approval Summary
2. Enter the current date in the Period Begin Field
3. Click on Search Error: Unexpected data type code: None (180,605) EP_UTIL_PACKAGE.Approval_Status OnExecute Name SelectApproverRows PCPC3375 Statement 40

(the steps to replicate are the same in 9.1 and 9.2 it’s just the error is slightly different)

The Evaluator encountered an unexpected data type code.

HCM 9.2 When a Manager Accesses View Approval Status Summary a SQL error occurs; the error is slightly different but affects the same area of the application EP_UTIL_PACKAGE.
