Job Opening Description is not Displayed when Internal Applicant Applies for Job (Doc ID 2086523.1)

Symptoms


Modifying the details of a job opening , employee is not able to see the description of the Job opening.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Step 1. Find a Job Opening to test with
Navigation: Self-Service > Recruiting > Careers
Note in this document, the job opening 500051 was selected and modified

Step 2. Open Job Opening 500051
Navigation: Menu > Recruitment > Search Job Opening

Step 3. Modify the Job Posting
Navigation: In Job Opening, click on tab “Details” then on sub-tab “Job Posting”

a. Remove any existing Job Posting
b. Add an external Job Posting
Note: I gave the posting title, the word “External” and the destination is “Internet” and “External Posting” and a remove date in the future (1/1/16)
c. Second posting is internal
Add an internal Job Posting
Note: I gave the posting title, the word “Internal” and the destination is “Intranet” and “Internal Posting” and a remove date in the future (1/1/16)

Step 4. Schedule Search Index HC_HRS_JOB_POSTING_INCR

Step 5. Open internal gateway
Navigation: Self-Service > Recruiting > Careers

Step 6. Lookup the Job Opening
Note: Job Opening is correctly visible (Posting Title: Internal)

Step 7. Click the Job Opening
Note: Job Opening description is correct: Internal

Step 8. Apply for Job Opening.

Step 9. Click link to view Job Opening
Note: No Job description is available
