Symptoms

Error while attempting to import data by using the Excel to CI tools
 
ERROR

Error loading Component Processor {DEPARTMENT_TBL} (91,24)


STEPS TO REPLICATE ISSUE

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Open ExcelToCI2007.xlsm template from %PS_HOME%\excel folder. First tab which you would see after cover tab is Connect Information. Provide your DEMO environment information in this tab.
Action will be defaulted to “Create”. First time, you should be able to see only Update/Updated Data option for Action. Once Component Interface is created then only you should be able to see “Create” option.

2. Click on “Add-Ins” tab and select “New Template” option from the top. Enter PS userid and password i.e. PS/PS and select DEPARTMENT_TBL as Component Interface Name.

3. Once created, you should be able to see the following columns added to excel sheet.
“Save As” the current Excel sheet to avoid replacing the original copy with different name i.e. “ATA_DEPARTMENT_TBL_ ExcelToCI2007.xlsm”.

4. Click on option under “Add-Ins” -> “Select All Input Cells”. This will allow you to see all fields in “Data Input” sheet.
Click on “New Data Input”, system will take you in the new tab.

5. Click on option under “Add-Ins” -> “Select All Input Cells”. This will allow you to see all fields in “Data Input” sheet.
Click on “New Data Input”, system will take you in the new tab.
System will also prompt for message, “Are you sure you want to delete all the existing data in the Data Input worksheet?”
Click on “Yes” button for this warning. You’ll be presented excel sheet similar to this one.

6. Click on option under “Add-Ins” -> “Stage Data for Submission”. This will allow you to post data for changes.

7. You’ll see the following error on ExceltoCI page.

8. Log file shows error:
