Symptoms


POST_HIRE_REQUEST message error on Profile Data from Manage Hires

POST_HIRE_REQUEST message error on Profile Data from Manage Hires being encountered after recent PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 Maintenance Pack/Bundle Upgrade going from MP5/Bundle 7 to MP9/Bundle 18 (including up to Enterprise Component Bundle 12). When encountered it blocks the HR_MNG_HIRES queue preventing post hire transactions on future hires until error cancelled & queue cleared by an administrator. System impacts is Applicant is not set as Hired & Job Opening not set as Closed/Filled until the queue is cleared and the pending POST_HIRE_REQUEST messages are processed, which vast majority go to Error, blocking the queue for subsequent POST_HIRE_REQUEST messages.
The Subscription Contract Error Messages are below -
Error (1): Invalid value -- press the prompt button or hyperlink for a list of valid values (15,11)
Error (2): Error changing value. {Invalid value -- press the prompt button or hyperlink for a list of valid values (15,11)} / An error occurred while changing the value of the field.
The errors being seen in the PSIBERRP table are below -
