Last updated on JULY 27, 2022

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.54 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Customers want to take advantage of the new parameter ProcessRestartMemoryLimit in the psappsrv.cfg file which has been introduced in PeopleTools 8.54. This parameter is used to control the memory usage for application server domains. However, it seems to be behaving strangely and the PSAPPSRV processes are recycling much more frequently than expected when this value is set.
