Information in this document applies to any platform.

On Allocation Group page - steps grid an Allocation Step having effective date greater than the effective date of the process group will not appear in the prompt (due to effective dating) for addition into that group. However If you manually enter that later effective dated allocation step & try to save the Allocation group it gets saved, but description for that later effective dated step is not appearing on allocation group page. No validations are being performed to check step effective date on allocation process page.

Steps to replicate:
1. In PIA Navigate to Allocations>Define and Perform Allocations>Define Allocation Step. search for an allocation step & note it's effective date.
2. Navigate to Allocations>Define and Perform Allocations>Define Allocation Group.
3. Create a new Allocation Group with effective date earlier than the effective date of Allocation step created in step 1.
4. In steps grid manually enter an allocation step having later effective date as compare to the effective date of allocation group.
5. Click save.
