Goal

When a Milestone is entered on the Award Profile, Currently Milestone Type and Milestone Code are required fields on this page. Please make Milestone Status and the Due Date as required fields as well.

Business Requirements Definition
The purpose of entering Milestone in the Award Profile is to document what specific actions must be taken by a certain date per the terms of the Award agreement. Queries and Reports are generated from this information in order to prioritize work and to ensure important deadlines are met. If a Milestone has been entered it is important to assign a Status and a Due Date to it. If that information is not present, then it becomes an ambiguous entry and makes Milestone reports less useful.
