Symptoms

Newly added consumers or customers via dialog registration are auto-tagged with DO_NOT_EMAIL = Y and Registration confirmation email is not sent even if Ignore Do Not Email is enabled in Dialog Flow (Single Email element)

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a Dialog that accepts registration to an event and sends confirmation email to the registrant

2. Set the Dialog to Live and register using information that does not exist yet in the system.

3. When the registrant does not exists, the system creates the data in the database

4.  It was observed that the system creates the data with DO_NOT_EMAIL field always set to Yes and the registration confirmation email does not get sent.
