When Updating Termination Date, Fatal Error Message is Displayed: SQL error in Exec. (2,280) JOB.EMPLID.SavePostChange occurs (Doc ID 2097847.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to change the effective date of terminated row in job data page, the following error occurs:

SQL error in Exec. (2,280) JOB.EMPLID.SavePostChange PCPC:9447 Statement:149

During the execution of SQL, an error occurred in the Exec subroutine. The preceding message should have described the SQL being executed.

 REPLICATION STEPS:
-----------------------

1. Verify the Badge details in navigation Workforce Administration > Personal Information> Badge, make sure there is active row available for the current effective date

2. Terminate the same employee by navigating to Workforce Administration > Job Information >Job Data , add a row with action as Termination

3. Verify the Badge data for the employee in navigation Workforce Administration > Personal Information> Badge, the badge status should be changed to Inactive.

4. Try to change the Termination effective date by going to Workforce Administration > Job Information >Job Data for the same employee and below error pops up
