Last updated on NOVEMBER 10, 2016

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Maintenance Management - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After updating an existing WO, the resulting WO Schedule for Inventory items gives a blank analysis_type.

Business impact:
Inaccurate recording of inventory items.

Steps to replicate:

1. Go to Maintenance Management, Work Order Management, Work Order:
a. Add a new WO.
b. On the Requirements tab, click on the Inventory hyperlink and enter line 1 info.
c. On the Schedules tab, Click on the Copy from requirement. Reserve and Save.

2. Query PS_WM_WO_DIST_MAT to see the distribution row having ACT in Analysis Type

3. Log out of the system and log back in.

4. Open the same WO, now add new line to Work Order Schedule or Change the quantity in existing line (in this activity I am adding new line) , reserve and Save

Expected results:
The new row and the existing row will have an analysis_type of 'ACT'.

Actual results:
The Existing row's Analysis Type will become blank and only the new row will have ‘ACT’ in analysis_type
