Recommended Learning Gets Fatal SQL Error, When Apostrophe Used In Learner Name (Doc ID 2106052.1)

Symptoms

In Recommended Learning page we are getting Fatal SQL error, When we use apostrophe in the Learner name search

STEPS TO REPLICATE
--------------------
1: Go to Find Learning and open any of the details of a course
2: Click on Recommend Learning button
3: Click on Find to look for a recipient
4: Search for Learner name with the values which have apostrophe  (Ex:Lara D’Hoe)
When clicked on the search, it gets Fatal SQL error.
looks like The functionality doesn’t handle the apostrophe properly.

ERROR MESSAGE

A Fatal PeopleCode SQL error occurred. Please consult your system log for details.

SQL error in Exec. (2,280) LM_FND_EML_WRK.LM_SRCH_BUTTON.FieldChange  PCPC:2055  Statement:31
During the execution of SQL, an error occurred in the Exec subroutine. The preceding message should have described the SQL being executed.

BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, Users are Unable to use the Find functionality on the Recommended Learning page
