When viewing the Talent Summary Page, for an employee who has been rehired into the same job from which he/she was previously terminated, the following occurs:
For the "Date in Current Job" on Talent Summary page, the system shows the first date that the employee entered that Job.
For the "Years In Current Job" on Talent Summary page, the system calculates the time from the first job entry date to the termination date, and adds it to the time from the Rehire Date to the current date.
For the "Job Entry Date" on the Job Information page (Workforce Administration) the system calculates the time from the most recent entry into that job, without taking prior service into account.

Job Code Entry Date in current Job record is the minimum effective date for the current job code. In the above example it is 7/1/1998.
Years in current job is calculated accumulating all time for the current job code. In this case it is calculating taking 7/1/1998 thru 11/01/2015 (termination date) and then from 11/12/2015 (rehire date) thru current date and accumulating years/months.
On the current job row in core application, system show the Job Entry Date as the date that the employee returned to the job. In the Talent Summary page, the system is showing the date the employee was originally hired into the job, and calculating the time on job minus the time between the termination and rehire date.
1. Rehire a terminated employee into the same job code that is in their termination record.
2. Note the Job Code Entry Date and edit if required.
3. Navigate to Manager Self Service > Talent Summary page.
4. Notice that the "Date in Current Job" is actually the hire date and the "Years In Current Job" is the years from the hire date.
The question is whether the Talent Summary page should show all the time the employee has been in that job, or just the time from the recent rehire date. The Work Information page shows only the time since the re-hire date. The inconsistency is confusing.
