POI Created With Birth Date Greater Than Effective Date (Doc ID 2120351.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to Modify a Person, DOB entered that is greater than Effective Date, Contact Details entered, Org Relationship of POI entered, and saved.
Because birth date is greater than effective date, an error message should be encountered but it is not; user should NOT be allowed to save record, but save is allowed.

Birth date is after today. Please check the century entered. (1000,272)
You may have entered the date incorrectly. Or, you may have entered the birth date without the century and the birth date defaulted incorrectly. Please enter the century for this birth date.



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Main Menu>Workforce Administration>Personal Information>Add a Person>Modify a person
Enter Birth date greater than effective date
Enter Contact Information
On Organizational Relationship tab>check Person of Interest, and 'Other' from drop down>Save
No error message was encountered. Expected error when the birth date occurs after the effective date. The transaction was accepted and saved.
