Name in the 'Reports To' Line on the Job Record is not Updated (Doc ID 2124613.1)

Goal


In the 'Reports To' line on the Job Information tab of the Job Record - Main Menu > Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data, the Job Title, EMPLID, and Name of an employee's Supervisor is displayed. 

When the employee in the Supervisor position changes, what process is required to refresh the 'Reports To' display when the Supervisor changes but the position number is unchanged?  What's required in order for the new EMPLID and Supervisor name to display?

For example:
  - Jon reports to Position #163001.
  - Mary is assigned to that position number and her Job Title, EMPLID and name are displayed on the 'Reports To' line on Jon's Job Record.
  - Mary is terminated and Gary is assigned to position #163001.
  - What is required in order for this change (the new incumbent in position #163001) to cascade to Jon's Job Record?
