Symptoms

AWE transactions, and the T&L processes that submit them, are either throwing errors or suffering severe performance issues after applying PUM 16.

If they are throwing errors, this is the message that pops up:

"at Approval process instance (Id = 'XXXX', Definition ID = 'XXXX', Effective date 'XXXX', Thread id 'XXXX') (18081,1056):10:1, Step nbr 1 (18081,1058) EOAW_CORE.ENGINE.DefStepInst.OnExecute Name:Activate PCPC:9708 Statement:145
Called from:EOAW_CORE.ENGINE.PathInst.OnExecute Name:Launch Statement:74
Called from:EOAW_CORE.ENGINE.StageInst.OnExecute Name:InnerLaunch Statement:211
Called from:EOAW_CORE.ENGINE.StageInst.OnExecute Name:Launch Statement:229
Called from The purpose of this message is to wrap an exception so that it provides a stacktrace."

The following processes may take much longer than usual or never complete (issue compounded when dealing with employees that have multiple employee records):

-Web clock time entry

-Time sheet time submission

-TCD time loading

-TL_ST_LIB.MA000.Step080

-Approving time (Reported and Payable)
