E-PIA: Breadcrumb is overlapping with Home button in portal header on long navigation path when browser is zoomed (Doc ID 2133534.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 07, 2018

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.54 to 8.56 [Release 8.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Problem statement:
-------------------------------

Breadcrumb is overlapping in People soft Portal Interaction Hub 9.1 with home button on the header when browser zoom is used in a certain long path navigation
PAPPBR_THEME_TANGERINE_ALT delivered theme in Portal was set in portal

PeopleTools 8.54 having imported the full remote navigation from FSCM 9.2

Steps:
---------

1) Login into Portal(DEMO) with VP1. Note: Portal is integrated with FSCM system using UNAV and having full FSCM registry imported
2) Navigate to main menu--> FIN(parent folder)-->Account Payable--> Pay Cycle Processing-->Payment Selection Criteria-->Pay Cycle Manager.
3) Resize the browser window (CTRL + mouse wheel)
4) Breadcrumb will overlap with Home link on the top right for some few specific zoomed resolutions other than 100% - these are browser dependent ones (IE and Firefox are affected) and doesn't affects Chrome as Chrome doesn't have this zoom
More specifically the resolutions between 115 and 120% in IE 11 and 120% in Firefox are creating the odd look, while Chrome jumps from 110% directly to 125 % thus not being affected by this issue

Expected Behavior:
---------------------------------
The header to resize proportionally with the zoom factor selected and the controls not to overlap

Actual Behavior:
----------------------------
Breadcrumb will overlap with Home link on the top right for some few specific zoomed resolutions other than 100%
