NEGATIVE DEPRECIATION DATA AMOUNT MISMATCH WHEN USING DB2 Database


STEPS to Replicate

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Step 1: Create asset. (Enter amount $600000 and asset life 60 months then capitalize and save the asset. Remove any salvage amount if present.)
Step 2: Run Depreciation Calculation
Step 3: Run Create Accounting Entries
Step 4: Run Close Depreciation
Step 5: Create Asset Cost Adjustment (Adjust asset amount to $5077.92)
Step 6: Run Depreciation Calculation
Step 7: Run Create Accounting Entries
Step 8: Run Close Depreciation
Step 9: Run Load Depreciation Reporting Table
Step 10: Review Depreciation Info(Review Depreciation Info > Asset Depreciation > Period Depreciation)
Step 11: Review Financial Entries (PS_DIST_LN)
Step 12: Query PS_DEPR_RPT table data and notice the data variance.
