Last updated on JULY 21, 2020

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.53 and later
PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Purchasing - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : PeopleTools 8.53.14, Approval Framework Workflow (AWE)
Application: FSCM 9.2 PUM 10

When a Purchase Order sends either Deny Email or Hold, the Email Notification is not resolving the % Variables in delivered email.

Expectation is that all the variables on the PO Denied or Hold Notification emails should display the correct values in the emails.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Set Up the AWE PO Approvals Process.
2. Initiate a PO requiring Approval.
3. Deny the PO, or put PO on Hold
4. Review the PO Notification email sent and note that none of the parameters fill in, with the exception of the URL link, which is the first parameter.
