E-PerfMon: Can I Truncate PSPMTRANSHIST Table if Performance Monitor Setup is not Configured?

During analysis of tables containing large amounts of data we found out that the table PSPMTRANSHIST in our system has large number of rows (7352459) and is occupying significant amount of space in database segment, however we do not have performance monitor configured and we are not using it.

Would like to know if truncating this table would cause any issues?
