(Doc ID 2154455.1)

Last updated on JUNE 30, 2016

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Payables - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ISSUE:

In PeopleSoft Enterprise FSCM 9.2 Image #15, a fix was delivered through Defect # 21261308 (Custom Check Form ID Name With BI Publisher), which modified some of the delivered Report Templates from Report Definition APY2021X1. As a result, some orphaned rows were left over in the system records, causing the SYSAUDIT report to list false exceptions.

REPLICATION STEPS:

1.- Have an PeopleSoft Enterprise FSCM 9.2 environment patched with at least Image #15
2.- Launch a System Audit Report
3.- From the resulting PDF file, confirm there is an Exception of (BIP-04) for Report Definition APY2021X1

To gather more information concerning this scenario and its related problem, refer to the available SysAudit Report Document here linked containing the complete configuration and the replication steps necessary to reproduce the issue.

ERROR MESSAGE:

" (BIP-04) Template Definition not associated with any Report Definition:
       Template ID
       ------------------------------
       CHECK1_CHECK
       CHECK2_ADVICE
       CHECK1_ADVICE
       CHECK4_ADVICE
       DRAFTX1
       CHECK2_CHECK
       CHECK3_CHECK
       CHECK4_CHECK
       FCB
       9 Total Rows "

ACTUAL RESULT:

The System Audit Report lists exceptions that are due to some incorrect orphan rows left over from fix delivered within FSCM 9.2 Image #15. This confuses the Users, with unnecessary exceptions.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

The SYSAUDIT Report should not list Exception Errors (BIP-04) that are unnecessary.
