EAP Error When Saving VNDR_ID_EXCEL Component Interface - When Using Test Facility (Doc ID 2154674.1)

Symptoms

Error returned when saving VNDR_ID_EXCEL Component Interface.

Error saving Component Interface. {VNDR_ID_EXCEL} (91,37)


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open up the delivered VNDR_ID_EXCEL component interface.
2. Place cursor on VNDR_ID_EXCEL and perform a right mouse click to bring up the dialogue box.
3. Once the dialogue box is displayed, click on Test Component Interface.
4. After clicking on Test Component Interface a second Application Designer-like application will appear on your ‘tray’ at the bottom of your monitor.
  This second application is the Component Interface Tester. Please click on/activate the new Application Designer-like application.
5. When invoking the Test Component Interface, the following box will appear. Click on Create New.
6. Accept all the default values for all the fields with the exception of the following:
  Fieldname Entered Value
  VNDR_NAME_SHRT_USR SHRT USR
  NAME1 NAME1
  VENDOR_ADDR(1).ADDRESS1 11111 Main
  VENDOR_ADDR(1).CITY City Name
  VENDOR_ADDR(1). STATE CA
  VENDOR_ADDR(1).POSTAL 11111
  VNDR_LOC_SCROL(1).VNDR_LOC 1
7. After entering the aforementioned values, scroll back to the top of the Component Interface Tester and right mouse click on the VNDR_ID_EXCEL definition and select Save.
8. At this point the error will occur.
