EEbill 9.2: EBill Payment Error Using Search: SEARCH_BUTTON Was Over By 8 Characters On Google Chrome (Doc ID 2155540.1)

On : 9.2 version, Usability

When attempting to search Invoices or Messages in Chrome following error appears.

The issue is partially fixed in bug 22347256 - EAR9.2 ERROR USING PAYMT HIST SCH (AR_SSREVPAY_WRK.SEARCH_BUTTON) OVER 8 CHAR for payment history search but missed other two places.

ERROR

The value for the field search
BI_SS_WRK.SEARCH_BUTTON was over by 8 characters. Reduce to 1 or less characters. (126,141)


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to Customer portal using CHROME
2. Navigation: Main Menu > eBill Payment > Invoices
3. Click on "Invoice Search" icon
4. Search for any Invoice ID. Then hit "Search" once done.
5. Click on the Invoice ID hyper link, error message appears.

The second issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Customer portal using CHROME
2. Navigation: Recent Messages Pagelet.
3. Click on the 'View More Messages' hyperlink on the pagelet. (Note: There should be more than 5 messages for the customer for this link to appear)
3. Click on "Message Search" icon
4. Search for any Message. Then hit "Search" once done.
5. Click on the Message Detail Icon, error message appears.


BUSINESS IMPACT
