When the Default SetID for the Business Unit does not have auto numbering set up, even that the Record Group is associated to a SetID with auto numbering, still the following error is received on saving:
"No numbering schemas have been defined for this beginning sequence. (12130,25)"
This issue occurs since whenever assign_auto_number_NG is called, the Business Unit is sent along with TRX_HEADER_TR as the record. Since TRX_HEADER_TR is not in a Record Group the Default SetID is being used for auto numbering. This is causing errors whenever autonumber is called in Deal
Management, and not just when saving deals.
1. Update the Default SetID for Set Control Value US001 to US001 instead of SHARE on PeopleTools > Utilities > Administration > TableSetControl.
2. Leave the Recors Groups SetIDs as SHARE
3. Make sure Auto Numbering is setup for SHARE but not on US001 on Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definition > Codes and Auto Numbering > Auto Numbering
4. Enter a new Deal for US001
5. Try to save
