Symptoms

On PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2 : eProfile Manager Desktop

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When accessing a Lookup on a GSS page, the "Contains" Operator isn't working as expected. It is returning the same results as the "Begins with" operator.

A SQL trace shows that the following SQL is executed for a "Contains" search:
SELECT TOP 301 SETID, JOBCODE, DESCR, MANAGER_LEVEL FROM PS_HR_GSS_JOBCD_VW A WHERE SETID=:1 AND UPPER(DESCR) LIKE UPPER('Human') || '%' ESCAPE '\' ORDER BY DESCR, SETID, JOBCODE

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
We would expect that it would return a "Contains" result. This is frustrating and confusing to our managers using the page.
