In Application Designer, when you do a project compare under the UPGRADE OPTIONS, GENERAL OPTIONS tab, there is a setting for DDL on Records and Indexes.
Is there a way that when a new project is created, the DDL on Records and Indexes can be defaulted to "Take DDL From Source" instead of "Keep Target DDL"?
How to Re-create:
Open / Create a new project in Application Designer
Compare Project Tools>Compare>Compare to Database
Enter Target DB Credentials
Choose the OPTIONS button
On the GENERAL tab, view the DDL on Records and Indexes group box.
KEEP TARGET DDL is the default.
I know if you change the option, it is saved in the PSPROJECTDEFN table under the KEEPTGT column.
We would like to have future projects have the TAKE DDL FROM SOURCE defaulted so they don't have to remember to go into the options and make the change when doing a compare.
