When Using Smart Hire Template, Search for Matching Persons Link on Manage Transaction Details Page Does Not Return Matching National ID's. (Doc ID 2160309.1)

When using Smart Hire Template to hire a new employees, the "Search for Matching Persons" link on the Manage Transaction Details page executes a search, but does not find all the people who have the same NID as that indicated in the Search criteria. If the template data includes NID, and the Search/Match parameters have included NID in the search criteria, the Search for Matching Persons process should find all people having that NID.

When a search is conducted using the Search for People component, with the same Search Parameters and Search Results that has been configured on the template, the system does find the people with matching NID.


1. Create a Smart Hire template that specifies the value of "NO" for the Primary ID field.
2. Use the Smart Hire template to add a person with the same NID as an existing employee.
3. Click on the Save for Later button.
4. Go to Manage Transactions component and select the Search for Matching Persons link.
Observe that results do not include the person with the same NID.

Due to this issue, it would be possible to add a person to the database with an NID that is already entered for another employee.
