Talent Summary Personal Competencies Pagelet Not Populated with Default Profile Data (Doc ID 2162576.1)

Symptoms

After the Default/ Primary Person Profile Type is changed to newly created profile type and original profile made inactive, the Talent Summary > Personal Competencies Pagelet is not displaying direct report competencies. The competencies displayed are from the inactive Person Profile Type.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login as HR Administrator
2. Navigate: Main Menu > Setup HCM > Product Related > Profile Management > Profiles > Profile Types
3. Add New Value = PS_PERSON (for this scenario)
4. Navigate: Main Menu > Setup HCM > Product Related > Profile Management > Profiles > Clone Profile Types
5. Select Source Profile Type = PERSON
6. Select Target Profile Type = PS_PERSON (or any newly created Profile Type Name)
7. Login as Employee = HCRUSA_KU0046 (Rosanna Channing in this scenario)
8. Navigate: Main Menu > Self Service > Learning and Development > My Current Profile
9. Locate Newly Clones Profile = PS_PERSON
10. Select Radio Button for PS_PERSON
11. Click Continue Button
12. Confirm Competencies from PS_PERSON Profile Load for Employee
13. Login as HR Administrator
14. Navigate: Main Menu > Setup HCM > Product Related > Profile Management > Profiles > Assign Default Profile Type
15. Select Primary Person Profile Type = PS_PERSON (or newly created Profile Type Name)
16. Select Primary NonPerson Profile Type = JOB
17. Save Changes
18. Navigate: Main Menu > Setup HCM > Product Related > Profile Management > Profiles > Profile Types
19. Select Profile Type = PERSON
20. On Attributes Tab, Add New Effective Dated Row = 01/01/1902 & Make PERSON Profile Status = Inactive
21. Save Changes
22. Navigate: Main Menu > Setup HCM > Product Related > Profile Management > Profiles > Profile Types
23. Select Profile Type = PS_PERSON
24. Click Content Tab
25. Select Competencies Section
26. Uncheck Approval Required for Employee & Manager
27. Save Changes
28. Login as Employee = HCRUSA_KU0046 (Rosanna Channing in this scenario)
29. Navigate: Main Menu > Self Service > Learning and Development > My Current Profile
30. Confirm the Approval is Changes and Remove Competencies so only 3 are remaining (for comparison)
31. Login as Manager = HCRUSA_KU0003 (Jean Parsons in this Example)
32. Navigate: Main Menu > Manager Self Service > Talent Summary for Rosanna Channing
33. Locate Personal Competencies Pagelet
34. Notice Competencies from the PERSON (Inactive Profile Type) are Displayed
