EGL9.2: General Ledger Online Journal Edit Times Out With Error "Failed To Publish Initial Request Status" (Doc ID 2163214.1)

Symptoms

ISSUE
---------------
While running Journal Edit process Online, the screen goes blank & it times out with Error: "Failed to Publish Initial Request Status"

The process appears to complete successfully, but the user has to logon again and bring up page back up to verify.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Select "Edit journal" from the process drop down (Navigation: Main Menu > General Ledger > Journals > Create / Update Journal Entries )
  2.  Click Process
  3.  Page times out with message "This page is no longer available. To continue, return to your most recent active page or select one of the navigation icons in the head above. "
  4.  Click to load any new page
  5.  User is logged out
  6.  Log back in and view journals are successfully edited (Navigation: Main Menu > General Ledger > Journals > Create / Update Journal Entries )
