Last updated on FEBRUARY 06, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll Singapore - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
An employee has SHARE deduction of $1000 in the regular payroll. Subsequently, it is found that there is a over contribution of $500. The user run an Additional Payment Off Cycle to recover this amount.

When the Off Cycle is calculated, the SHARE amount is -$1500.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
The SHARE amount in the Off Cycle pay calendar should be -$500. The MTD accumulator for SHARE should be $500.

Due to the post-processing formula, the result is computed as current value (-$500) - SHARE MTD ($1000) = -$1500.

STEPS:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enter P.I. for SHARE = 1000 into the current pay calendar.
2. Process current pay calendar to Finalized.
3. Create Additional Payment Off Cycle to recover $500 from the earlier SHARE contribution.
4. Calculate Off Cycle.
