EAP: "The value that was passed is too long (96,2)" Warning on Click of a Hyperlink for PeopleTools Version 8.54.25+ or 8.55.06+

Symptoms
User is getting warning on clicking of a Hyperlink. This started occurring after applying 8.54.25 / PT 8.55.06.
Steps:
------------
1) Go to Accounts Payable > Review Accounts Payable Info > Payments > Payment.
2) Search for payments.
3) Click on hyperlinks for the column "Payment Reference ID".

The value that was passed is too long.
This issue can occur on other pages as well. Couple of other pages where it was already identified are:
1) Accounts Payable > Review Accounts Payable Info > Supplier > Aging
2) Financial Gateway > Review Payments > Payments
