Global Search Gives Inconsistent Results When Same Search Performed Using Two Different Pages

Symptoms

Global Search returns different results when performing search from different pages.

Steps to Replicate Issue: 

1. Log in as Learner
2. From Menu Task bar,  Click on the Global Search Magnifying Glass icon.
3. Select “Learning” from the drop-down list.
4. Enter {word to search} in the Search box.
5. Click Search (>>) and note the number of rows returned. 
6. While on this page, Click on the Global Search icon (magnifying glass) again.
7. Enter {word to search} as the keyword and click on search. Note that the number of rows returned is now less than step 7.
8. Still on the same page, clear out the {word to search} keyword on the search box, just above the Search Results box, and hit search (>>).
9. Now click on the Nav Bar, top right icon, select navigator, then select “Learning Home”.
10. From the Learning Home page, select the Global Search icon,top right, and enter{word to search} as the search keyword.
11. Note the number of rows returned.
