Users can Submit and Save the Supplier Registration Without Email Communication ID on EMPLOYEE Portal

Symptoms


1st issue: Supplier Registration can be completed without an email address in the Communication Email ID, on EMPLOYEE portal. The system allows the user to Save a registration with out a Communication Email Id in the Submit page.

2nd issue linked to the 1st one: If the user has an email address in the User Profile, the system does not default that email address on the Communication Email ID field.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:



1. Fill in an email address on the user profile, then login with that user account and register a Supplier from Employee portal.

    Main Menu>Suppliers>Supplier Registration>Register Suppliers


2. At the last registration step (Submit step), the communication Email ID field is blank. Click on submit.
3. Registration will be completed.
