When using the "Forgot My Password" password reset functionality (MAINTAIN_SECURITY.EMAIL_PSWD.GBL) in an 8.55.08 environment, the OPERPSWD filed is not updated. The PTOPERPSWDV2 and OPERPSWDSALT fields are getting updated fine. This causes an issue for the 8.54.22 environment that receives the IB message to update the PSOPRDEFN record for the OPRID. What happens is that the 8.54 environment gets the OPERPSWDSALT field updated on the PSOPRDEFN table, but the OPERPSWD field does not change. This causes the OPRID to be unable to login to the 8.54 environment with the new (or even the old) password. This is because the OPERPSWDSALT that resides in the PSOPRDEFN is not the salt that was used to generate the OPERPSWD field value.
