Symptoms

ePro requisition is not routed for approval on submission

On submitting the requisition in eProcurement, the requisition is not getting routed for approval workflow. Route to Supervisors status continues to be "Not Routed". Also, Requisition approval status is "Initiated". The workflow fails in scenario 1 described below. However, it is working fine in Scenario 2.

STEPS
-----------------------

SCENARIO 1: Below are the steps that we are following:
1. Add a new Requisition with all the Chartfield values (including Account) left as blank.
2. Click on "Save for Later" button.
3. Go to "Preview Approvals" page and add an adhoc approver by clicking on "+" button.
4. Click on "Apply Approval Changes" button.
5. Click on "Return" button.
6. Click on "Save and Submit" button for requisition
Results: Requisition is not routed for approval and the Supervisor Status continues to be "Not Routed". Also, workitem is not created in the worklist of the first approver.
Expectation: Requisition should get routed for approval and workitem should be created in the worklist of first approver.

SCENARIO 2: The issue does not occur when we don't click on "Return" button on "Preview Approval" page-
1. Add a new Requisition with Chartfield values (including Account) left as blank.
2. Click on "Save for Later" button.
3. Go to "Preview Approvals" page and add an adhoc approver by clicking on "+" button.
4. Click on "Apply Approval Changes" button.
5. Do not click on "Return" button. Instead click on "x" button to close the "Preview Approvals" page.
6. Click on "Save and Submit" button for requisition
Result: Requisition is routed for approval.

SCENARIO 3: Also, if we provide values for chartfields in accounting lines, then also requisition gets routed for approval, even if we click on "Return" button.
1. Add a new Requisition with account and department values provided in the accounting line
2. Click on "Save for Later" button.
3. Go to "Preview Approvals" page and add an adhoc approver by clicking on "+" button.
4. Click on "Apply Approval Changes" button.
5. Click on "Return" button.
6. Click on "Save and Submit" button for requisition.
Result: Requisition is routed for approval.
