E-PRCS: Unable To Delete References To Crystal Reports In PSJobs (Doc ID 2181096.1)

Symptoms

In a PeopleTools 8.55 environment with a pre-9.2 application, when removing Crystal processes from within a PSJob, an error will occur.

Error

The following error message is received when trying to delete the reference to the Crystal processes from within a PSJob:

"Process type "" for Unix operating system with database type of ORACLE is not a valid type definition. (65,10)

A valid type definition must be defined before this process type may be used."

Steps
------------
In order to reproduce the issue, follow the below steps:

1. Log into PIA.
2. Navigate to PeopleTools > Process Scheduler > Jobs.
3. Search for a PSJob containing a Crystal report within it's processes and open it.
4. Go to Job Definition tab and try to remove the Crystal processes from the list of processes attached to the PSJob.
5. The error message will appear.
