The New User Registration forgot password function does not work.
When clicking on the "Forgot your password?", users get an error "(14039, 49) You do not have proper security to perform this transaction. Contact your system administrator".
The new user has access to the service operation and related Component Interface. When testing through the delivered NUR tester, the same message is generated. Tester application can be found at Set Up SACR > System Administration > Utilities > Sample User Interfaces > New User Registration Tester. Create an account and then go back and click on "forgot your password?" link. After answering the secret question, the error is displayed.
In performing further analysis, the delivered Component Interface that is used is invalid. "SCC_NUR_EMAIL_PSWD" in demo system does not validate and complains on several fields. It appears because the CI is invalid, the PeopleCode is giving the security message.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set up NUR and forgot password utility.
2. Click on the forgot your password link and get error.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use the forgot your password link.
