EGL9.2: Interim Close Creates Journals With Incorrect Journal Date When 'Closing Journal Date' option is Selected as 'Retain Transaction Date' (Doc ID 2190120.1)

Interim Close is run using GLPCLOSE Cobol process. It Creates Journals With Incorrect Date Closing Journal Date' option is Selected as ‘Retain Transaction Date’.

The journal date on the closing entry should be the same journal date as the original transaction. Instead GLPCLOSE created Journals with journal date as the As Of Date entered on the Close Request run control page.

Steps to Replicate:

1. Define the closing rule for Interim Close. In Journal Options tab select Closing Journal Date option as ‘Retain Transaction Date’
2. Creating Closing Process group & include the Interim closing rule created in previous step.
3. Request to run Interim Close & Select GLPCLOSE.
4. After the process completes, check Journal date on the journals are created by Closing process.

Actual Behavior:
Journal date is incorrectly populated as the As Of Date entered on the close request run control page.

Expected Behavior:
Journal date date should be correctly populated as per the original transaction date.
