Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Benefits Administration - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9.0 to 9]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The payroll calculation program (PSPPYRUN) is abending when an employee is enrolled in a High Deductible Health Plan (Plan Type 10) and a HSA Benefit Plan (Plan Type 67); but the HSA Contribution Limit entry is missing of the coverage code. Employees enrolled in a High Deductible Health Plan for Family coverage and a HSA Benefit Plan for Individual coverage that definitely is an error condition; but instead of inserting a payroll error message the program ended abnormally. So instead of generating a few error messages, the program fails and does not complete the payroll calculation for literally thousands of other employee's pay checks.
