When the Manager and the Employee has different Languages set up in User Profile,after the Employee submits an request concluded with an email approval to the
Manager, the session switch to the Language of the Manager.
It is important that the Manager receives the approval email, no need to Approve or Deny it. Right after the email is been sent to the Manager and the Employee Navigates to Home, the Language switches.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. The User Profile Language of the users (Employee and Manager) has to be different. It is not mandatory to use Chinese and English, you can use for e.g. French for the Employee and English for the Manager. You can set up this from the following Navigation: Main Menu > People Tools > security > User Profile - General Attributes Grid, Language Box
2. Login as the Employee using the same Language used for the User Profile (e.g. Chinese) and navigate to Main Menu > Self Service > Learning > Find Learning using the corresponding Language path and enroll for a class that has to be set up like this:
3. Navigate to Main Menu > Enterprise Learning > Catalog > Maintain Classes: choose a Class and in the Class Details Tab - General Information Tab, use the Approval Type that uses the Email Approval Workflow to the Manager
4. Once that Employee has submitted the enrollment for approval, he navigates to the Home Back and all the Menu is switch to English (language that is set up in the User Profile of the Manager)
Note: Doesn't matter if the manager approves the transaction, right after the
EE submits the request for approval, he navigates back to the Home Page
