Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Maintenance Management - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When you create a work order from Service Request or online pages, the default Work Order Schedule date is always the current date, even when the required start date is in future, we need to manually change the schedule dates to match required start date
Expected Behavior
------------------------
When you create a work order from Service Request or online pages, the default Work Order Schedule dates should reflect the required start and end dates.
Steps
-------------
This issue can be replicated by performing the following steps:
1) Create a service request with a Date Required in the future.
2) Save the Service Request and generate a work Order ID.
3) Link to the Work Order ID and tab to Schedules. Note that the schedules Start and End Dates reflect the Service Request/Work Order create date not the Date Required entered on the Service Request.
Business Impact
--------------------
The Schedule Start and End Dates must be manually changed to reflect the Date Required entered on the Service Request.
