E-BI/XMLP: BI Publisher PDF Bold Special Characters Not Displaying Correctly (Doc ID 2194808.1)

Symptoms

Certain special characters in bold are not displayed correctly in BI Publisher reports to PDF .


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log in to PIA
2. Navigate to Reporting Tools > BI Publisher > Query Report Viewer
3. Run a report to PDF which contains certain bolded special characters
4. Notice that the bold special characters are not bold (and the font may be different )
