The 'RECURRING_AMOUNT' Field On CA_DETAIL Table Is Set to 0$ When we Run the 9.0 to 9.2 Upgrade Script For Recurring Lines That Have Already Billed/Booked Revenue (Doc ID 2194959.1)

Goal

Question: We are upgrading our environment from PeopleSoft 9.0 to 9.2. In 9.2, a new field was added to CA_DETAIL - RECURRING_AMOUNT. Per my understanding, this field does not drive actual billing but allows one to enter a value for a recurring contract line to capture that amount in the total contract value and displays on the Summary of Amounts section on the Contract's General Information page. Looking at the upgrade scripts, that value is set to $0 on all contracts in the upgrade. What was the logic to setting this value to $0 in the upgrade for recurring lines that have already billed/taken revenue? The summary of amounts page appears wrong for all of these contracts because it gives the impression that one does not have recurring contract lines.
