E-IB: REST Service Returns Corrupted JSON Data if the Child Structure of a Document is Changed

Symptoms
After upgrading to PeopleTools PT 8.55 or later, changing a Document's child structure, and invoking the REST service after the changes were made may result in the JSON response containing junk characters.
The issue may be replicated using the following steps:
1. Log in to PIA.
2. Navigate to the Document Builder (Navigation: PeopleTools > Document > Document Builder), and open a Compound Document.
3. Change the child's structure, and save the change.
4 Navigate to the Document Tester (Navigation: PeopleTools > Document > Document Utilities), and test the above Document.
5. Observe the junk characters in the result/response.

Upgrade to PT 8.55 or a later PeopleTools release.
