EAP: Full Indexing for EP_AP_VENDOR Not Processing All Suppliers (Doc ID 2202247.1)

Symptoms

In the Supplier component, searching by TIN (Tax Identification Number) does not return all suppliers who have the same TIN number. This can be confirmed by navigating to Review Supplier and entering the same TIN number which returns multiple suppliers.

Schedule Search Index process PTSF_GENFEED was run with Indexing Type as Full Index but when reviewed the generated XML file, it does not not seem to process all suppliers.

It is working fine when making a change to the supplier, or just saving it, then re-running the Schedule Search Index process with Indexing Type as Incremental Index. In this case, the search will return the supplier which was modified/re-saved.

STEPS

1. Make sure several suppliers share the same TIN
2. Navigate to PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Schedule Search Index, and run the Schedule Search Index process for the EP_AP_VENDOR search definition with Indexing Type as Full index
3. Navigate to Suppliers > Supplier Information > Add/Update > Supplier, go to the Keyword Search tab, Click Advanced Search, and search using Taxpayer Identification Number
